Roman Borys
Roman Borys is one of Canada’s most active chamber musicians, and a founding member of the Gryphon Trio. Roman oversees the production and development of the Gryphon Trio’s various projects, including education and outreach initiatives. He is entering his third season as Artistic Director of Ottawa Chamberfest.

A native of Toronto, Roman studied with Janos Starker at Indiana University and Aldo Parisot at Yale University. He now teaches at the University of Toronto faculty of Music, along with Gryphon Trio pianist Jamie Parker and violinist Annalee Patipatanakoon.
