For 18 years, audiences have enjoyed chamber music concerts of the highest calibre, presented by the Ottawa Chamber Music Society (OCMS).

Our members help us to present Ottawa Chamberfest and our fall/winter Concert Series, commission new music, and enrich the lives of children and families with our arts education and outreach programs.

But ticket sales and other earned revenue cover only 37% of our cost to produce chamber music concerts throughout the year. We receive an additional 53% from sponsorship, government, and foundation grants. That leaves a 10% gap that our loyal members help us to bridge. They sustain our programming and ensure that our ticket prices remain accessibly within market value.

Gifts

Your planned gifts can create excellent tax advantages. We recommend that you speak with your financial advisor to help determine which method is most financially advantageous to you.

Your gift will be designated to the Ottawa Chamber Music Society’s Arts Endowment Fund, which is managed by the Ontario Arts Foundation and invested in perpetuity. A portion of the income is used year after year. The endowment fund ensures that the values and excellence of the OCMS are preserved and strengthened.
