With more than 130 kilometres of well-maintained bike paths, it’s fair to say that Ottawa is a bicycling city. In most cases, especially during rush hour, it’s faster to use a bike to travel from venue to venue.
Many of Ottawa’s transurban bicycle paths wind along rivers and through national parks, where you’ll see Canadian geese, mallard ducks, and the occasional deer. Sound fun? Plan your commute with the City of Ottawa’s cycling map.
Why not walk to each venue? Downtown Ottawa is extremely pedestrian-friendly and each primary event location is no more than ten minutes away from the others. Fifteen minutes, if you happen to pass a BeaverTails stand!
